The History Of Christianity In Czech Lands
The history of Christianity in the Czech Lands began in the 9th century. In the 14th century Jan Hus was a Czech theologian and philosopher who became a Church reformer, leading the believers back to true Christianity. His teachings had a strong influence on the states of Western Europe. Hus is considered the second Church reformer, as he lived before Luther. Changes in burials and the erection of churches throughout the Czech Lands demonstrate the spread of the new faith in the 10th century. From 1948 to 1989 the Soviet Union controlled the Czech Lands (Czechoslovakia) and left a lasting mark of unbelief. In 1993, Czechoslovakia separated peacefully into two countries, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Our Goal
With a current population of10.65 million with 39.8% claiming to be atheist totals 4,238,700 people, and with 13.4% claiming to be undecided totals 1,427,100; and together totals 5,665,800 non-Christians in the Czech Republic.
Our goal is to awaken the people and reintroduce them to the God of Love, to plant seeds of hope and truth and Love in the hearts and minds of non-believers and to nourish the hearts and souls of believers and help them fully know who they are and what they have as followers of Christ Jesus!
Currently we are looking to support local ministries that are already working in similar programs. When funds allow we plan to organize a nation wide marketing campaign and then, when needed, do full time ministry working with the various churches. We hope and pray this will grow and similar projects will be organized in other countries as well. All to the glory and honor of God and Jesus!
Donate
Praying for the Czech people is one of the greatest gifts you can give! Funds are needed to purchase the various components to promote God and Jesus in the Czech Republic. We give thanks for God going before us and touching the hearts of the Czech people, and for your participation in making it possible!
